What MailKit is
MailKit is a newsletter tool that lets you send professional emails from your existing Gmail account. You sign in with Google, import your contacts, create an email, and send it — no domain setup, no DNS records, no complexity.
How you sign in
MailKit uses Google OAuth to authenticate you. When you sign in, we receive basic profile information from Google (your name, email address, and profile picture). We also request permission to send emails on your behalf through the Gmail API. We do not access, read, or store the contents of your Gmail inbox.
What data we collect
We only collect and store data that is necessary to run the service:
- Your name, email address, and profile picture (from Google sign-in)
- Projects you create (name, logo, brand colors)
- Contacts and lists you add or import
- Email campaigns you compose and send
- Basic analytics (send counts, clicks, unsubscribes)
We do not collect data beyond what is required to provide the service. We do not use tracking pixels, third-party ad networks, or behavioral profiling.
How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your session
- Send emails on your behalf through Gmail
- Store your contacts, lists, and campaigns
- Show you campaign analytics
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data or your contacts' data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is yours.
How we store your data
Your data is stored securely in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted on infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to production systems is restricted and follows security best practices. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
Third-party services
MailKit uses the following third-party services:
- Google OAuth & Gmail API — for authentication and sending emails on your behalf
- Vercel — for hosting the application
- Neon — for database hosting
Each of these providers has their own privacy policies. We select providers that meet high standards for data security and privacy.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Revoke MailKit's access to your Google account through your Google Account settings

Cookies
MailKit uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the application. Continued use of MailKit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
