About MailKit
MailKit is a newsletter tool that lets you send professional emails from your Gmail account. By using MailKit, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You sign in to MailKit using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your MailKit account. You must be at least 18 years old to use MailKit.
What you can do
MailKit gives you the ability to:
- Create projects for your businesses, brands, or organizations
- Import and manage contact lists
- Compose and design email campaigns
- Send emails through your connected Gmail account
- View basic analytics for your campaigns
Your responsibilities
When using MailKit, you agree to:
- Only send emails to people who have given you permission to contact them
- Comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and any local regulations
- Include a working unsubscribe mechanism in your emails (MailKit provides this automatically)
- Not use the service to send phishing, malware, or fraudulent content
- Not attempt to circumvent sending limits or abuse the Gmail API
- Respect unsubscribe requests promptly
Your content and data
You own the content you create in MailKit — your emails, your contacts, and your campaign data. We do not claim any ownership over your content.
We do not sell your data or your contacts' data to anyone. We only use your data to provide and improve the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Gmail and Google
MailKit sends emails through your Gmail account using the Gmail API. This means:
- Emails are sent from your actual Gmail address and are subject to Gmail's sending limits and policies
- You can revoke MailKit's access at any time through your Google Account settings
- We do not read, access, or store the contents of your Gmail inbox
Prohibited use
You may not use MailKit to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- Distribute malware, phishing, or deceptive content
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Service availability
We aim to keep MailKit available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on third-party infrastructure (Google, Vercel, Neon) and may experience occasional downtime for maintenance or due to factors beyond our control.
Limitation of liability
MailKit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or email deliverability issues.
Account termination
You can stop using MailKit at any time by revoking Google access and contacting us to delete your account. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the application. Continued use of MailKit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
